Day 1: Zadar – Murter (Podvrške)
You join us in Zadar, where we don’t waste much time, but after a short info talk, we sail off and make our way to the island of Ugljan, where we star our first bike ride of the week. We ride down the lush green islands of Ugljan and Pašman, all the way south to the village of Tkon, where the ship meets us once again and takes us to Podvrške bay on Murter, where we spend our first night.
Day 2: Murter (Podvrške) – Šibenik
We ride through the small towns of Murter, Betina, Tribunj and Vodice, where we will find our ship once again and take off towards Šibenik. As we cross through the channel of St. Ante, guarded by St. Nicholas fortress (unique and breathtaking), we bow our heads as we enter the city of Croatian kings of old, and later, a valued Venetian city, protected by not one or two, but a total of four major fortresses, which stand as a testament to its importance in history. The cathedral of St. Jacob dominates the old town, a building with no peers, the unique architecture of which continues to inspire even to this day.
Day 3: Šibenik – Skradin (NP Krka)
We make our way uphill, into the Dalmatian hinterland, and meet the ship at the town of Skradin. This beautiful, sleepy place is the major port of Krka river, and the gateway into the Krka national park, one of the most beautiful in this part of Europe. We get lost in the beautiful, lush vegetation of the river canyon, and treat ourselves to a quiet night on the ship, where the many swans of Krka keep us company and steal our bread.
Day 4: Skradin (NP Krka) – TelašÄŤica
As we leave the river and Šibenik channel, we enter a realm of unimaginable beauty. This is how some tend to describe the immeasurable beauty of TelašÄ‡ica Nature Park, part of the larger National part of Kornati. A mix of barren scenery, followed by patches of lush Mediterranean vegetation, dramatic white cliffs, salt lakes and the pristine sea water of this place will leave you breathless, and a night spent here, in the most wonderful silence the nature has to offer will be an experience that you will not soon forget.
Day 5: TelašÄŤica – Savar
We make our way up Dugi otok, and see that it truly lives up to its name (meaning Long Island), as we visit 12 small villages along the way. This unique experience ends at the port of Savar, where the ship joins us once again.
Day 6: Savar - Zverinac
After exploring the island for another morning, we board the ship and make our way to the peaceful island of Zverinac, stopping to swim and relax along the way. Here we are treated to a wonderful, usually starry night, with the moonlit sea spreading to the end of our horizon.
Day 7: Zverinac – Zadar
We sail back to Ugljan and make our way to Preko, a place known to us from the first day, from where we once again make our way to Zadar. We finish the week in the capital of Venetian Dalmatia, and once the largest city on the Adriatic. In the shade of late-medieval walls, we start on a journey of beauty and history which is Zadar, a town where eras of history and architecture flow seamlessly and coexist peacefully, as they paint the unique picture of this fascinating place. Wonderful people, food and music are just a stone’s throw away, as you take the stroll towards the Sea Organ and the Sun Monument, where some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world can be seen.
Day 8: Zadar
Depart after breakfast.
